Private investors find it difficult to choose which renewable energy investment to make without jeopardizing supra-local government initiatives.
As a scientific basis for future public online tool, VITO, together with the Flemish Department Environment and the Flemish Energy Agency, built a decision tree that supports this choice based on location and building information.
By coupling spatial and energy characteristics, this instrument (will) facilitate the implementation of the energy transition in an unique way.
